HVAC Case Study: Residential Mitsubishi Ductless Heat Pump Jacobstown NJ Install

Problem:

The Hansens live in a farm style home that was depending on a Friedrich wall unit to keep their home comfortable. Consequently, it consumed quite a bit of energy in order to operate. Also, it was extremely loud which added to its lack of functionality.

Solution:

We removed the Friedrich wall unit and quickly replaced it with a Mitsubishi ductless heat pump. Since the downstairs was the problem area, they had two indoor units and one outdoor unit installed. One indoor unit was installed in the kitchen and the other was installed in the living room.

By doing this, the entire floor would feel much more comfortable. Additionally, the Mitsubishi ductless system is so quiet that the Hansens will be able to enjoy spending time together without noisy interruptions that they used to experience with their old noisy wall unit.

Their old wall unit had a SEER rating of 8, which is considerably low. Their new unit has a SEER rating of 18, which is considered extremely energy efficient. This means that they will pay significantly less each month on their utility bill. It is estimated that they will save $50 per month on home heating and cooling costs.
